A woman has shared happy snaps of her cute companion enjoying a swim in the sun with Kmart's Dog Water Fountain Mat.

The Dog Water Fountain Mat is available from Kmart stores and features a hose connector which makes the mat easy to assemble.

'Perfect for hot sunny days, your dog will love pawing around in this water fountain mat,' Kmart Australia states online.

The top places to check for your dog for if it's overheating are on their neck, behind their hind legs and their armpits.

The Dog Water Fountain Mat is the ultimate way to cool down your dog this summer and many have commented on Stacey's post saying what a great idea it is and on the adorable action shot.
'Eevie has always been so obsessed with the water, but I've never seen her happier than when she sees me turn on her [water mat]', Stacey said on Facebook
